Alice Cross will lead a discussion
about both "M" (Kanopy, Prime, HBO) and “Her” (Kanopy, Prime).

(1931) (Kanopy, Prime, HBO) When the police in a German city are unable to catch a child-murderer, other criminals join in the manhunt. Stars Peter Lorre, Ellen Widmann, Inge Landgut. Director: Fritz Lang.
Her
(2013) (Kanopy, Prime), written and directed by Spike Jonze, follows Theodore Twombly (Joaquin Phoenix), a man who develops a relationship with Samantha (Scarlett Johansson), an artificially intelligent operating system personified through a female voice. The film also stars Amy Adams, Rooney Mara, Olivia Wilde, and Chris Pratt.
